Description

Construction of the Combitunnel, railway line Zwolle-Hengelo and the N35, started in June 2010 with the installation of sheet piling. Prorail and Rijkswaterstaat's Combiplan will be completed in 2013.

The current track is broken up and the N35 through Nijverdal is being shifted to the north. Prorail is laying the new track alongside. Part of the new road and track will be in a tunnel.

During this excursion, we can already view part of the Combitunnel.
