Engineering Our Future
Description
The future asks for engineers that can bridge the gap between deep technological expertise and the application of technology in society. How do we use technology to create an experience that is worthwhile for us? How do we design for impact? Creative Technology is a relatively new domain, combining electrical engineering, computer science with user-centred design and creativity. High Tech, Human Touch, in line with the central theme of our University.
In this symposium we will present this domain to you. Researchers and practitioners from a range of institutions and companies as well as students from the bachelor program CreaTe will tell about their work, and show applications relevant for the understanding of Creative Technology.
We kindly invite you to attend the symposium and share the fascination and fun when combining technology, user experience and creative design.
