Excursion RWE STKW Eemshaven
Description
Today we have the opportunity to view RWE Essent's construction site in Eemshaven. We will be welcomed with a cup of coffee after which Mr Greiner will tell us about the power plant and the choice of location, for example. Then Mr Elzinga will tell us more about the geotechnical challenges including the foundation and water management on the site.
After this explanation, the bus will take us on a tour of the site and its surroundings.
Due to access to the site, all persons need to be registered in advance. I would therefore like to ask you to let us know no later than 15 May whether you are coming or not.
Please also remember to bring a valid ID to the excursion otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the grounds!
The programme offered is as follows:
14.15 - 14.30 hrs. Porter's control and reception with coffee and tea.
14.30 - 15.00 hrs. Presentation RWE.
15.00 - 15.40 hrs. Presentation Wiertsma & Partners.
15.40 - 15.50. Donning PPE (helmet, boots, jacket). Are present.
15.50 - 16.05 hrs. Visit roof terrace.
16.05 - 16.40 hrs Tour of the construction site by your bus.
16.40 - 16.50 hrs. Removal of PPE.
16.50 - 17.00 hrs. Question round.
17.00 hrs. Farewell and departure from the construction site.
