GENERAL MEMBERS' MEETING Eastern Region with presentation 'Smart House Factory'

On Monday 3 April, a short General Members' Meeting of Region East will take place. The board will give accountability and for you a great opportunity to meet the board members.

Prior to the ALV, there will be a presentation by Mr Theo Opdam and Mr Berri de Jonge of Plegt Vos. Plegt-Vos was the first in the Netherlands to launch a robotised factory for the annual production of thousands of turnkey, sustainable homes and housing components. The first hall of the factory has already started up and the first homes have already been delivered. A total of five production halls and an experience centre are being built.

Besides ready-made houses and housing components for detached houses and apartment buildings, the factory also produces standard renovation and preservation solutions for existing buildings. These range from complete houses to housing components such as facades, roofs, internal walls and complete bathrooms. Everything is delivered complete and ready-to-use from the factory. As the entire construction process is integrated in the factory, the house can be assembled on site in just a few days.
