GROHW project lecture in Deventer
Dear KIVI members,
On 4 March, as one of the initiators of the GROHW project in Deventer, Raphaël van der Velde of Witteveen+Bos will take you through the experience of how to create a hydrogen hub. GROHW stands for the application of both hydrogen, oxygen and residual heat released during the production of hydrogen from water using sustainably generated electricity. To prepare and read up, take a look at the GROHW website: www.grohw.nl.
What started as an idea to run the cycle ferry in Deventer on hydrogen has, after eight years, grown into a realised hydrogen hub to which two companies now connect. It has been a road with many bumps and valleys. Slowly but surely, this will continue to grow into a hydrogen network from which the built environment can also benefit. The municipality of Deventer has developed an ambitious plan for this!
And you will hear why connecting to the Netherlands Hydrogen Network is essential for such a local hydrogen hub. And why this is now the first 'open' hydrogen hub.
