HoSt was formed in 1991 from a collaboration between Holec Projects and Stork, both renowned suppliers of energy systems. From 1999, HoSt has been a fully independent organisation. Its activities focus entirely on the technological development of waste to energy systems for the processing of biomass and waste streams and the supply of systems for the sustainable generation of energy from biomass and waste. HoSt is experienced and specialised in the processing of various waste streams from the food processing industry and agricultural (by)products, such as manure, straw, chaff and grass (clippings).

HoSt has grown into a very important European supplier of bioenergy systems with more than 27 years of experience, a large service team throughout Europe and more than 120 engineers designing, building and installing advanced bioenergy systems. Various processes and systems will be explained and viewed during the excursion. A very interesting company for KIVI members!
