Hybrid Membrane BioReactor Ootmarsum
Description
Waterschap Regge en Dinkel recently commissioned a Hybrid Membrane BioReactor (MBR) to treat sewage water from the Ootmarsum area. This hybrid system is a combination of a conventional system with sand bed filter and, in parallel, the Norit Airlift MBR system. This is where the clean water is separated. This MBR is unique in the Netherlands and was recently commissioned. Its capacity is 3600 m3/day. The treated water from the MBR is of high quality. After being welcomed and introduced to the MBR by Norit, there will be an opportunity to take a closer look at the installation.
