New year meeting at Grolsch
The board of Region East and Students Twente cordially invites you to the traditional New Year's meeting. This year, we are guests at the Grolsch beer brewery, where we will not only listen but also observe the process.
Attention will be paid to the growing role of IT in the production processes and the role of (big) data in reducing energy and water consumption.
Of course, a taste test afterwards will have to determine whether the product meets the strict quality requirements. The brewery is continuously improving its production processes to reduce water and energy consumption. Grolsch's ultimate goal is to brew in a CO2-neutral way.
After a tour of the brewery and a presentation by Susan Ladrak (Manager Engineering & Sustainable Development), our chairman Paul de Jong will look back on the past year and of course there will be plenty of time to raise a glass to the new year.
