Veerman report, Dry feet
Description
He will tell us about the genesis of the Delta Commission report chaired by Mr Veerman and its further elaboration. The climate scenarios used will be discussed. The focus will be on the choice of flexible coastal defence against sea level rise through coastal replenishment.
The discussion on whether or not to have islands off the coast will also be addressed.
The evening will start at 17:30 with drinks. At around 18:30 we will have dinner. Please let us know if you will be joining us for dinner!
The meal will cost about Euro 20 and, like the drinks, will be at your own expense.
The lecture will start at about 19:30.
The evening will end at about 21:30.
And of course there will be the opportunity to talk afterwards over a drink.
