Engineering Day (VOL)
Description
On Saturday 22 January, KIVI NIRIA Region East, in cooperation with the Twents Techniekmuseum HEIM in Hengelo, is organising a special afternoon of activities to bring technology closer to young people.
Children aged 6-12 will be divided into three age categories and will work in small groups on a piece of technology that is interesting and understandable to them. They will be guided by an engineer who will be happy to share his/her passion for technology with the youngsters.
It promises to be another instructive and above all fun afternoon and who knows, we might even succeed in making the children realise that a lot of everyday life revolves around technology. We hope this will not only interest them now, but also in the future in this fascinating profession.
Because HEIM does not have enough volunteers to supervise the children, we would like to appeal to the members of KIVI NIRIA. We know from previous years that this day is also very inspiring for supervisors! Would you like to help? Please contact Elfride Dijkstra for more information.

Entry only with confirmation of participation. Max. 120 children.
