Description

Since November 2010, the Kip Caravan factory has been in new hands. The new owners build 5 models of caravans here, each in 3-4 layouts. Since the beginning of this year, the factory has embarked on a conversion focusing on lean manufacturing and logistics.
The factory dates from 1961 and was modernised last year. Before assembling the caravans, Kip manufactures its own roofs, walls and floors using a 'glue line' and a 'panel press', based on sandwich techniques. All other required parts are Kip-specific and manufactured by third parties.
