Visit fire brigade Zwolle
Description
On 11 November, you can take a look at the main station of the Zwolle Fire Brigade, located in the newest and largest fire station in Overijssel: a striking, open and transparent building. There will also be a visit to the first certified training building in the Netherlands.
During the presentation, attention will be paid to the organisation of the fire brigade as well as to the logistics of turning out after a call and the architectural and constructional issues necessary for this. Other topics will include: the extinguishing techniques used and the extinguishing agents required, clothing and protective equipment, reliability and equipment maintenance. A tour of the building will then allow everything to be seen and studied in practice.
CONTENTS
Guests are welcome, but the number of guests may have to be limited for activities with a maximum number of participants.
