RTV Noord Radio and TV in the Mediacentrale is a public broadcaster of the province of Groningen. Radio and television studios and editing rooms have been built in and on the old power station. Radio and television broadcasts are provided from the Mediacentrale on all days of the year. The broadcasting company has over eighty permanent staff and several dozen freelancers. RTV Noord has its own programme technology department
