
Annual meeting at the Philips Museum
Description
The board of the Region South calls its members to the annual meeting. Like last year, it will be held at a place worth seeing and with an interesting programme. Not only for members, be sure to bring your partner or guest.
Reception with coffee and cake from twelve o'clock. The museum's spacious special foyer offers every opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow members and the board in an informal way, especially for new members.
At one o'clock the meeting for RZ members. In the meeting, you can express your wishes and help give direction to new initiatives. You will be extensively informed about the programme and developments within your association.
During the meeting, partners and guests will take a guided tour in which they will be taken through the history of Philips and thus the very recognisable range of appliances, domestic from coffee grinder to shaver and professional from X-ray machine to LED greenhouse.
By three o'clock, this part of the programme will be concluded at the same time as the annual meeting.
In the second part of the programme, the guided tour of the temporary exhibition 'Expo 90 years of Design'. Accompanied by a guide, Philips' design history passes in review. Ninety years ago, with the arrival of Louis Kalff in Eindhoven, design at Philips gained new momentum. Designs like the iconic Philips logo and numerous both common, and rare and unique objects.
