New Year reception with presentation

This year, our New Year's reception will shine the spotlight on a social topic. In an engaging presentation, we will gain insight into Freemasonry, a familiar name to many of us, but clear to few what this group stands for.
Come with your partner for a lively evening, get to know our new members and meet your acquaintances. Extra lustre will be added by the speaker who will take us into the world of Freemasonry. New members, board members, veterans and partners always experience this festive gathering as worth repeating.
After receiving coffee and tea, the chairman of our Region South will do the opening speech with a brief review of last year and intentions for the coming year. The break will be followed by the presentation of the evening, "Freemasonry in the Netherlands: The mystery unravelled".
In his presentation, Henk Janssen, deputy Grand Master of the main board of the Order of Freemasons Netherlands, will give us insight into the world of Freemasonry, covering the following topics: Origins and history of Freemasonry, Freemasonry in the Netherlands, Nature and objectives of Freemasonry, Methods of working, Freethinking and religion, and Fraternity and community.
Before, during the break and after the presentation until the conclusion of the evening, there will be ample opportunity to catch up with each other over snacks and drinks.
