This is the Techcafé

The Techcafé is the central meeting place for professionals in the high-tech and manufacturing industry. Whether you are an engineer, designer, entrepreneur or student, our Techcafé offers you the chance to network, exchange ideas and learn more about the latest developments in the industry. Each edition focuses on one main theme. Experts share their knowledge during the talk show to inspire and stimulate new ideas and implement them in organisations.

The Techcafé is organised by DSPE and Mikrocentrum

This edition | Industry 4.0, Smart Industry

Smart Industry is a catch-all term, but during the next edition, the table will feature people who have actually achieved results. These are the table guests you will meet on 11 April:

  • Erwin van Dijk, product line owner manufacturing automation at ProDrive Technologies
  • Michael Vermeer, CEO at Robomotive B.V.
  • Jeroen Broekhuijsen, CTO Smart Industry at TNO
  • Jan Willem Verschuuren, Director at De Cromvoirste

De Cromvoirste supplies metal made to order because, thanks to its automation processes, part of the process can be unmanned and very fast. Prodrive has a state-of-the-art production environment where quality, speed and price are important aspects. Robomotive develops systems to provide customers with high-quality production automation solutions. How do they do this? And how did they achieve this?

In addition, we invited TNO. They offer a comprehensive overview of the industry with regard to digitalisation. In short, there is again plenty of room to get inspiration for your own challenges.

Programme

  • 15.30 hrs: Walk-in
  • 16.00 hrs: Talk show
  • 17.00 hrs: Networking drinks
