KIVI member Koos Mulder was appointed Member of Merit of Region South last Saturday, 10 March, for his extraordinary merits for this department and for KIVI in general.
Koos has been a member of the board of Region South since 2 September 2011 until 10 March 2018 as chairman of the activities working group, but had previously been a member of this working group of Region South since 2003; first in the preparations for the merger of NIRIA and KIVI where cooperation was already taking place in this region and from the merger onwards in the KIVI NIRIA setting and beyond.
In total, he has worked very intensively for 15 years to prepare and bring to fruition the activities in the region within the region and with the cooperating departments. In the years of his chairmanship of the working group, he made a very large contribution to the cooperation with students and young professionals which also directly involved both departments in the cooperation of the umbrella.
