The Board of KIVI Zeeland invites you to visit Museum Verbeke Foundation in Kemzeke Belgium on 17 June 2022.



The Verbeke Foundation displays artworks from its own collection and organises temporary exhibitions of contemporary art. Two large group exhibitions take place every year: one opens in summer, the other in winter.

Collages and assemblages are exhibited in a separate room.

The museum does not want to be an oasis. The presentation is unfinished, in motion, unpolished, contradictory, messy, complex, unharmonious, alive and unmonumental, like the world outside the museum walls.

Work is being done while you look, so it may regularly happen that you get a glimpse behind the scenes.

Moreover, artists are regularly in residence, which allows visitors to witness work in progress.
