Computers, smartphones and data centres devour energy. Prof Dr Hans Hilgenkamp (UT) and Prof Wilfred van der Wiel (UT) - founders of the Center for Brain-Inspired Nano Systems (BRAINS) - think this could be done better. In doing so, they look to the human brain, which can perform great feats while consuming only a few calories. Come to this Science Café for a fascinating mix of nanotech, artificial intelligence and neuroscience!
