Objective

The foundation aims to provide applicable support to:

• engineering students in the final study phase of universities and HBOs who require financial support to undertake a study trip as part of their graduation project;
• young technical engineers, who require financial support for further study or a study trip insofar as this is considered essential in connection with their training to promote science;
• students in technical sciences at Dutch universities and HBOs who, due to special circumstances, have problems financing their studies.

Board composition

The board of the foundation consists of the President, Treasurer and Secretary of the Royal Institute of Engineers. Currently, these are Diana van den Heuvel, Egbert Teunissen and Frans Heijnen(see KIVI board members).

Board members do not receive any remuneration for their work.

Jury

The Board of the Fund may be advised by a jury regarding the applications. These jury members also receive no remuneration for this.
