Conditions of participation

• Foundation Study and Travel Fund reserves the right not to award a scholarship in a round if the applications are not sufficient.
• A scholarship will only be awarded to a KIVI member. How long you have been a member does not matter. However, in case of equal qualitative submission, Stichting Studie- en Reisfonds reserves the right to give priority to someone who has been a KIVI member longer.
• Active involvement in KIVI, before and/or after your application, can positively influence the assessment.
• The jury of Stichting Studie- en Reisfonds may ask for additional explanations following the application.
• The trip should be in the present at the time of application and not have already taken place in the past.
• At the time of application, the student must be studying at a Dutch HBO institution or university.

Study and Travel Foundation is always looking to improve, which is why we are asking you how we can help students get the most out of themselves. If you apply for the scholarship, please take into account the following additional conditions of participation:

• You will be asked to share your experiences on the KIVI website in the form of an article and/or blog.
• Post at least one LinkedIn post in the theme "Day in the life of", with a moment from your experience abroad, and tag KIVI in each post.
• Take a photo or (standing) video with the KIVI goodie you get to travel with. This content can be used by KIVI on its own social channels.
• Images, stories or quotes from your story can be used for KIVI ads.
• Do a short survey within your study association about awareness of KIVI, link this back to us and put us in touch to explore possible collaborations.
• You may be asked to give a physical or digital presentation about the knowledge you have gained or about the study trip you took.
• Editors may interview you for our tech magazine The Engineer.
