Community Working Groups
Additional functionalities have been added within the community. For instance, it is now possible to participate in working groups. You can do this within your own departments, but also together with other departments.
in the menu, you see 'Community Talk', where you can see all available working groups. There are groups that are open to all members, but also groups that are invitation-only. You can click on a working group to access or join it.
Go to the working groups
all board members can start a working group via the button at the top right.
while creating, you have several options in shielding the group:
- Open, anyone can become a member
- Semi-open, anyone can join after approval by the administrator
- Closed, members can only be invited by the administrator
- Hidden, members can only be invited by the administrator and the group is not visible.
In the working group
In the working group, you can communicate with each other via messages.
In the right-hand column, you can see the contact information of the workgroup administrator and administrators.
In the left-hand column, the member directory shows which other members are in the working group. And, you have the option to leave the working group again.
Managing members in working group
As a working group administrator, you can;
- make other members administrators;
- approve requests from members to join the working group;
- and, invite members to join the working group.
You do all this from within the working group. Click on 'settings' in the left-hand column.
