Your Departments
It is now possible to share and respond to posts with your department within the Community.
in the menu, you will see the 'Your Departments' button, which shows all the departments you are a member of.
Then click on a department to read and respond to its messages.
These are messages created by members or board members of this department, informing about a new development, a social issue or other department-related matters.
They are not posts that anyone can read on the website and are limited to the department itself. You can also respond to them as a ward member.
Post a message
You will see a bar above the messages with 'Write message', here you can start a new message. As soon as you click it, the window opens as shown in the example.
A title and message content are mandatory.
Then choose the category of the message: article, news, event or blog.
Optionally, you can attach a document.
Once a message has been posted, other department members will be notified in the notification centre and can read the message and respond.
Responding to messages
You can respond to a post by going to 'post comment' below the post. You can also click the star to 'like' a post.
You can also reply to another member in the comments, by clicking 'reply' below that member's comment.
Note: Keep it clean among yourselves.
