Meetings overlooking courtyard garden
The Huygens Room (44.4 m2) is a beautiful, spacious room on the first floor overlooking our beautiful courtyard garden. The large oval meeting table can seat up to 15 people.
Please note that there is no lift. The Huygens Room can only be reached by stairs.
You can use free wifi in the room. There is also a flipchart as standard. We can provide a monitor and/or laptop upon request.

About Christiaan Huygens
Christiaan Huygens (The Hague, 14 April 1629 - there, 8 July 1695) was a prominent Dutch mathematician, physicist and astronomer, inventor and writer of early science fiction. He was one of the leading figures in seventeenth-century science. In mathematics, he pioneered probability theory and pioneered differential and integral calculus, although his methods remained strictly geometric. To physics, he contributed in many areas: he was the first to formulate correct laws for elastic collision, and expressions for the period of the mathematical pendulum and centrifugal force in mechanics.

Parking
Parking is available at Q-Park Malieveld or parking garage Museumkwartier which are within walking distance of the building.
KIVI has a disabled parking space at the back of its accommodation at Jan Evertstraat 5 and a ground-level entrance for the disabled. Please indicate when making your reservation if you wish to use this.
