The Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers (KIVI), in collaboration with the 4TU Federation, proudly announces the launch of the national EngD KIVI Award. This new annual prize recognizes the outstanding achievements of EngD graduates who combine scientific rigor with real-world impact.
Submissions are open to all EngD graduates of 2025. The registration form closes on November 7. The first award ceremony will take place on December 2, 2025 in The Hague.

The applications will be measured by an independent jury consisting of various representative members from academia, industry and society along the following pillars:
- Innovation – creative and practical solutions that push the boundaries of engineering.
- Impact – measurable contributions to industry, research, or society.
- Leadership & Collaboration – inspiring teamwork, professionalism, and knowledge transfer across disciplines.
By celebrating these qualities, the award does not only honor individual achievements, but also raises awareness of the EngD program’s unique contribution to the Dutch innovation ecosystem.
