The battle for the Arctic is heating up now that global warming is turning the Arctic into an undiscovered resource hotspot. Also, the famous North-West Passage will become the new highway for cargo to the East within a few years. This symposium will be the first Dutch maritime platform to give an overview on current challenges, economic opportunities and future trends. This symposium will be hosted by KIVI NIRIA offshore and marine technologies and involves speakers who have accepted the challenge of going beyond Nova Zembla.
