Some hobby brewers make such good beer that they grow into a business. Then they need machines to fill and box bottles or cans. And those are built by Zomerdijk in Alkmaar.

in 2015, the Zomerdijk brothers started brewing beer, with the first beers being commercialised a year later. To keep up with the growth of their brewery "de Moersleutel", they modified a filling machine and later founded Zomerdijk Engineering with the aim of providing fellow breweries with these machines. For this evening, Max Zomerdijk, the family's engineering whiz kid, was prepared to share what challenges they had to overcome and how it turned out the way it did.
