Description

Mr de Haan, Top Advisor on Flood Protection at Rijkswaterstaat, will tell us about the realisation of the Delta Committee report prepared in 2008 under the chairmanship of Mr Veerman and its further elaboration.

Among other things, he will discuss:
- climate scenarios that are used;
- coherence between the components of the Delta Programme;
- the choice for a flexible defence of the coast against sea level rise by means of coastal replenishment.
- whether or not to have islands off the coast;
- is a water rise in the IJsselmeer still foreseen and what does this mean?

Mr de Haan will address all these questions during the evening
