Description
Current new buildings are becoming increasingly sustainable and energy-efficient due to regulations and personal ambitions.
The existing housing stock, on the other hand, will continue to be a huge energy consumer if we continue to put renovation money into it in the wrong way with the current regulations and usual financing principles.
We can only achieve the ambitions to reduce CO2 emissions by 20% if the existing housing stock is drastically insulated.
Cor Peerdeman will use examples to show the current and latest initiatives, and planning possibilities, highlighting technical, social, financial and urban planning aspects on sustainability.
Prior to the presentation, the annual meeting of the Alkmaar region will take place.
