Description

Energy - particularly electricity - played a key role in the development of Agriport A7 in Wieringermeer. "There was nothing and energy companies held off the boat. Then you have to do it together or abandon the plan." The private energy company of glasshouse growers will supply 200,000 households in North Holland with electricity.

In his lecture, Robert Kielstra will explain his views on energy consumption, the environment, technology and the market, and elaborate on how energy is handled at Agriport A7, the large-scale glasshouse horticultural area and business park for Agribusiness and Logistics in Wieringermeer.

How was this finally realised?
What changes can they still expect?
Why an internet hub in the Wieringermeer?
Mr Kielstra will also elaborate on these questions.

Prior to the lecture is the Alkmaar region's New Year's meeting and the region's planned activities will be explained in more detail
