Milk production with small farms
Description
Our KIVI circle The Hague of purely engineers with very diverse disciplines meets every third Tuesday of the month at 18.00 in Scallywags at Kettingstraat 8 in The Hague. The evenings last until about 21.00 (if it is very sociable, it sometimes goes on until 21.30).
During these meetings, a wide variety of often technical subjects are discussed in a good, friendly atmosphere. The meetings always involve a lot of interaction and discussion.
Besides the fact that you are informed about a wide range of topics and can join in the discussion, it is great fun to get to know each other well.
On Tuesday 18 October, I will give a lecture on milk production with small farms, as it used to be and ending with today's big farms, competing in Asia with Frontera, New Zealander and North American farms.
The format for a meeting is always: reception and drinks until 19:00h, from 19:00-20:00h the lecture and at 20:00h the meal. Costs for the evening are shared, the speaker has no expenses. After the lecture by the speaker, there is a lively discussion on the topic, which often continues during the meal.
