Eye movements and attention
Description
Eye movements play an important role in visual perception. They ensure that the image on the retina remains stable when your head moves and that you can focus the yellow spot on objects you want to look at. In this way, eye motor skills are strongly linked to spatial attention; the ability to select sensory information for more extensive inspection. In this talk, Maarten Frens talks about eye movements, attention and the neural processes underlying them
