The A16-Rotterdam construction project is the extension of the A16 to connect with the A13 towards The Hague/Westland. It is the section from the Terbregseplein interchange with the A13, past and along The Hague-Rotterdam airport. The section has a number of peculiarities such as the fly-over at Terbregseplein, the under-tunnelling at the Rotte, the sunken position at the Bergse Bos and the passage of the High Speed Line. Special construction methods have been applied and these will be explained. Attention will also be paid to coordination with the surrounding area, which consists of many stakeholders both public and private.

Speaker Guido Makor was born in 1961 and has a background in English Language and Literature. He has worked in ICT for years (service desk, system administration, head of IT, project management, trainer), the last 13 years of which from his own agency. He was then asked by De Groene Boog (the contractor consortium building the A16 Rotterdam) where he is site manager and public information officer for and at the Expo A16.

Drinks will start at 18:00 and the meal will follow punctually at 19:00, after which the lecture can start at 20:00. End around 22:00.
