Every first Thursday of the month, we meet at restaurant Smakelijk Eten & Drinken in Vlaardingen for drinks, a fine dinner and good conversation. There will also be an introduction on a technical or general topic.

My name is Ton Raemakers, TU Delft Maritime Engineering graduate, 61 years old, living in Vlaardingen and Business Development and setting up Eager Academy in Utrecht. I have been a KIVI member since 1982 and a member of the KIVI Circle Schiedam-Vlaardingen since 16 years. As stated above, we meet every first Thursday of the month at restaurant Smakelijk Eten & Drinken in Vlaardingen for drinks, a fine dinner and good conversation. There will also be an introduction on a technical or general topic.
Recent topics have included the development of the windmill and the design of the Nolet mill in Schiedam, the story behind the success of distillery Nolet, a visit to Nolet's new bottling plant, smart GRIDS, Schiedam's energy collective, firm Hak on pipe inspections, Islam, Maastunnel and volcanology in Costa Rica.
The atmosphere is relaxed and there is plenty of room for networking and catching up. There are also activities, such as a New Year meeting and an activity in the summer, in which partners can also participate.
