About the speakers:

Roland van Dijk - CEO of Fokker Services Group

Roland studied aerospace engineering in Delft and then worked at Stork, Fokker Technologies and Arcadis. In 2022, he took over the aircraft maintenance arm of Fokker Technologies from under the GKN banner, together with associate Menzo van der Beek. Fokker Services Group, of which Fokker Techniek in Woensdrecht is part, is currently experiencing strong growth. The construction of a new maintenance hangar in Woensdrecht is an important part of this. Within the Netherlands, besides the complete aircraft maintenance and conversion business in the south, the components MRO shop at Schiphol is also part of it.

Arjan de Jong - NLR

Arjan de Jong (1968) received his BEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Haarlem Polytechnic and his MSc in Aviation Management from the University of Southampton. Arjan received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering & Management from the Technical University Delft. He worked for the Schreiner Aviation Group in the Netherlands and the CHC Helicopter Corporation in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He held various operational and strategic positions in maintenance, engineering, continuing airworthiness management, and asset management. He works at the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR) since 2009, most recently as Principal, Maintenance and Engineering. His team provides maintenance management services and develops innovative maintenance technologies.
