The Maintenance Department will organise monthly online sessions on every 1st Wednesday in 2021 covering aspects in the field of technical management and maintenance (TBO) in buildings.

Standards such as ISO 55000-Asset management, ISSO Sustainable Management and Maintenance, NEN standards and other standard guidelines are used as a framework. At the same time, a practical interpretation is given from the perspective of the technical management and maintenance of the monumental KIVI building. We will also regularly invite frontrunners, market leaders and objective knowledge sharers to tell their stories.

The aim of the sessions is to take participants through all aspects involved in Building Maintenance.

The sessions will take place from 16:30 to 18:00 via Teams and will be recorded in this time block so that people can watch them again on the internet. Digital walk-in starts at 3.30pm. After 6pm, there will be an opportunity to talk digitally until 7pm.

Wednesday, September 1, 2021, the 8e online session will take place, dealing with Impact sustainability and digitalisation in management.

KIVI Maintenance board member Aart de Jong of Tiberius Maintenance, also a member of the KIVI Building Committee and working as an advisor on Technical Management and Maintenance, will introduce this session.

Ron Hendriks, director at Van Beek Ingenieurs, (see also https://www.linkedin.com/in/ron-hendriks/) will elaborate on relevant sustainability options facing the world of technical management and maintenance. From climate targets, energy transition and related legislation, companies are active in making its real estate more sustainable for which many roadmaps are currently being drawn up. It will be indicated how to deal with these developments in the maintenance phase. What impact does digitalisation cause on competences of maintenance technicians and maintenance contracts. How can we deal with the multitude of information in the field of sustainability, recognised measures, monitoring and energy management.

This time, we will build in plenty of room for questions and interaction!
