At this KIVI Event, Marinus Tabak, plant manager of the year 2019, will share his views on the challenges of operating and maintaining during COVID-19.

Marinus is plant manager of RWE's Ems power plant. This coal-fired power plant is making the transition from coal to biomass. This will save 1.5 Million CO2 per year. What opportunities and challenges does this transition present for maintenance? And how radical is COVID-19 for this transition?

Marinus actively participates in the public debate for the transition; he and Remco de Boer are the tastemakers on climate policy on LinkedIn. For KIVI Maintenance, Marinus volunteers his time to share his experiences about his passion: how to ensure that together we make the transition to a more sustainable future.
