The Department of Asset Management & Maintenance is organising a series of online sessions covering aspects in the field of technical management and maintenance (TBO) in buildings in 2024.
Normally, our target audience consists of people who identify themselves in the roles of Asset owner, Asset manager, technical service provider, consultant, inspector, contract manager, project manager, enforcer or user. However, due to the strategic choice that KIVI's voting members will have to make in the upcoming Members' Council meeting regarding the KIVI location, we are now focusing particularly on them.
Historical perspective highlighted
In the second half of 2024, we will highlight the KIVI venue from the technical, functional and historical perspective. In this webinar, we consider the historical perspective.
We will ensure that there is plenty of room for interaction and knowledge sharing in the sessions. The sessions will be recorded in the time block from 16:30 to 18:00 so that people can watch them again via the KIVI website. The sheets will also be shared in pdf via the KIVI website. After 18:00, there will be an opportunity to talk digitally until 18:30.
Our speaker is Gert Jan Luijendijk of the KIVI Department of History of Technology. This year, he has delved into the history of our site, which is already 105 years old.
