ALV & Maintenance Landscape

On 5 July last, during a sunny day, the annual ALV of the KIVI Maintenance Section was held. In the cosy ambiance of restaurant "Loft 88" in Utrecht, after having a drink, the General Members Meeting was started which was chaired by our chairman Bart Smit.

General Meeting

After the chairman introduced the current board of the section to those present, the events of the past year passed by in a nutshell. They were again great events. A tentative preview was also given of the events to be organised by the Maintenance Department in the coming year.

On the department's finances, the chairman could be brief: "Healthy", this was agreed by the treasurer.

Maintenance Landscape KIVI Maintenance

After the ALV, the Maintenance Landscape was presented by Romeo Ciolina. The department set up the Maintenance Landscape to use it as a handle to start organising targeted events in the field of Asset Management and Maintenance.

The Maintenance Landscape was used by the Mechanical Engineering course at The Hague University of Applied Sciences to develop a maintenance learning line. In September 2017, the learning line will be completed and the in-depth minor Life Cycle Management, based on ISO 55000 Asset Management & Maintenance.ALV & Maintenance Landscape.

After the presentation, the Maintenance Landscape was discussed in detail with all attendees in groups while enjoying another drink, but now also a snack. Many practical examples were reviewed and given a place with the Maintenance Landscape.

Once the evening sun made its appearance, everyone went home satisfied, with an expanded knowledge network and a few experiences richer.
