Construction of St John's car park
Description
Reception from 13:30 at the City Hall of the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch. Two years ago, we as a specialist department already gave you the opportunity to get acquainted with the design of the parking garage and its surroundings and stood at the edge of the construction pit. In July 2015, the 1040-space car park was officially opened. From 14:00, project managers Frans Viveen of contractor Heijmans B.V. and Raoul Beckers of the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch will give a presentation on the construction and what challenges they faced during the construction of the parking garage integrated with the fortifications. After the lecture, we will walk to the new, already award-winning car park on Hekellaan and be shown around by the project managers. The landscape shows little of the car park, hidden under the water of the canal. Only the various entrances indicate that there is some under the water.
Because of the tour, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 30 people.
