Building temporary flood defences competition at Flood Proof Holland
THIS ACTIVITY HAS BEEN POSTPONED
Match temporary flood defences build at Flood Proof Holland
Flood Proof Holland is a pilot polder in Delft where flood defences are tested on a real scale. Researchers and entrepreneurs come together here to test, investigate and improve new ideas.
After an inspiring presentation of innovations in the field of water safety at TU Delft, we leave for the test polder where teams will compete for the title 'best builder of temporary flood defences'. A jury prize and audience prize will be awarded.
We will conclude with a snack and a drink at the test polder.
You can sign up as a team of 6 or 7 people or individually, in which case we will assign you to one of the free teams. Bring dry clothes and boots. Participation is free of charge.
