
Digital Twins in hydraulic engineering
KIVI Hydraulic Engineering cordially invites you to our lecture: Digital Twins in Hydraulic Engineering: from 'fun toy' to 'unthinkable'. During this afternoon, Luc Ponsioen (Hydrotwin engineering), Emily Spitsbaard (RWS) & Paulo Pileggi (TNO) will take you through practical examples into the current- and future applications of Digital Twins.
Programme:
- 14:30- Walk-in
- 15:00 - 15:30 What is a digital twin - We will discuss the most common definitions and give our views.
- 15:30 - 16:00 What are the applications? Using practical examples and demos, we will show how digital twins are applied and what trade-offs have been made.
- Break (15 min)
- 16:15 - 17:00 What are the challenges and developments - We will share our views on future developments, including AI, Machine Learning and Large Language Models, and discuss the practical challenges and current state of play within RWS.
