Pre-announcement:

On 13 May next, the Delft Hydraulics Society is organising a symposium on the theme 'Extreme engineering: The challenge of climate change'. On this day, Bas Jonkman will be the host and the organisation is currently busy securing speakers.

With this theme, they want to tell symposium visitors more about the various mega-projects that are now and will be in the future as a result of climate change.

The day will start with lunch, followed by a plenary session and there will be a number of workshops. The symposium will end with a debate and, to conclude, drinks.
