General Members' Meeting
Dear members of the KIVI Construction and Hydraulic Engineering Section,
Very much we as a Board would like to involve all our members of the Section even more directly in our fine KIVI Construction and Hydraulic Engineering Section.
Hence this personal appeal to you!
1Call for an ALV
The entire board of the Department of Civil Engineering hereby cordially invites you to attend our General Members' Meeting on Monday 12 November from 18:00 - 18:30 in The Hague in the KIVI building in De Grote Zaal.
Immediately following this ALV, we will again have our very lively board meeting in which developments in the profession will be shared. If you register for the ALV, you are of course also welcome to attend this board meeting where you can contribute your ideas.
The board meeting starts at 18:30 and lasts until 20:30.
We always serve a nice glass of wine and good food.
2Call for a new Member Council member
We hereby also make an appeal to you - as a member of our department - to take a seat on behalf of Construction and Hydraulic Engineering in our highest and most important body of the association: The Member Council.
Due to KIVI's new stricter governance rules, this vacancy has arisen.
The Member Council represents all our 20,000 KIVI members. The Council of Members sets the association's policies and controls the Main Board. Each department delegates one representative to the Council of Members; in addition, there are ten vacant seats. Members of the Council of Members are elected for a period of three years and are eligible for reappointment for one consecutive period. The Council of Members meets twice a year. A position in the Council of Members is unpaid.
For more information, please feel free to call me - Ernst Oosterveld vice chairman (0653304692) - or Defne Osmanoglou secretary (065251254) or the KIVI office (070 391 99 00).
