Lunch lecture Hyperloop
Description
From Amsterdam to Paris in 30 minutes. That is the picture of the future if it is up to the Delft Hyperloop team. The hyperloop is a superfast train in a vacuum tube, powered by magnets. The idea was conceived by Elon Musk and concretised by students from technical universities around the world. The team from TU Delft won the prize from the competition held. Admittedly not the fastest, but overall it gained the most points. BAM is now building a prototype to conduct tests and bring the future closer.
On Tuesday 13 June, BAM will talk about this prototype. The lunch lecture is from 12:45 (walk-in from 12:30) to 13:30 in lecture room E of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at TU Delft. This lunch lecture also includes a free sandwich for attendees.
