Description

On 24 September next, the Hydraulic Engineering Symposium Civil Engineering, in collaboration with KIVI NIRIA, Port of Rotterdam and Project Organisation Maasvlakte Extension (PUMA), is organising this symposium.

Every year, the Hydraulic Engineering Symposium organises a symposium on a current topic in hydraulic engineering. This year, the Maasvlakte 2 was chosen. A unique project in Dutch hydraulic engineering and with which we have proven ourselves as a hydraulic engineering country worldwide. Maasvlakte 2 is the new extension of the port of Rotterdam, where the very largest sea-going vessels will soon be able to load and unload.
In this symposium, we want to pay attention to the entire project. Not only from design to execution, but also how the project came about and its organisational structure will be discussed. Throughout the day, you will learn all about Maasvlakte 2. It will conclude with a panel discussion with all speakers, where you can ask your final stimulating questions.
