Venco Campus, energy-neutral building
Description
The Venco Group is a family business and consists of a number of innovative companies operating in the poultry sector. The foundations were laid in 1983 in the Brabant town of Eersel with the establishment of Vencomatic. Since then, this company has grown into a global provider of innovative and welfare-friendly systems for housing poultry.
To build on the Venco Groep's leading position, knowledge development and innovation are indispensable. With the recently opened new building Venco Campus - housing all Venco Group companies - the family business thinks it can realise its ambitions.
An important ambition of the Venco Campus was to realise a sustainable and energy-neutral building. That ambition has been realised. The Venco Campus was built according to the principles of Slimbouwen® Keurmerk; developed by Jos Lichtenberg, professor at TU Eindhoven. Under his guidance, a committee of experts assessed the design and execution of the Venco Campus and the Venco Campus received the Slimbouwen certificate.
The tour will focus on the construction process of this beautiful project so you can experience the flexibility, reduction, efficiency and sustainability of the Venco Campus
