Waal bridge Ewijk-Valburg
Description
On 18 October next, the Department of Building and Hydraulic Engineering, in cooperation with Combinatie Waalkoppel v.o.f., is organising a project visit to the extra Waal bridge Ewijk - Valburg. Combinatie Waalkoppel v.o.f. is formed by the contractors Mobilis, Van Gelder and Dywidag.
The bridge connection forms an important link in the A50, one of the most important links connecting the north and south of the country.
Besides the additional bridge, the A50 Ewijk - Valburg road section will be widened from 2x2 to 2x4 lanes and an emergency lane in both directions. The Ewijk and Valburg interchanges will also be modified
