A mobile phone becomes a skating medal
COOLREC, part of Renewi (Gansewinkel /Shanks merger), uses innovative techniques to recover specific materials from discarded appliances, including precious metals from mobile phones. These materials can be reused as raw materials in the manufacture of new products such as skating medals for the KNSB. For 1 g of new gold, you need 5,000 kg of toxic material and 10,000 l of water.
First recycling company in the Netherlands to be WEEELabex ('Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment') certified.
Over 25 years' experience in WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
