BPUG
Description
The 18th annual BPUG seminar will be organised on Tuesday 2 June 2015. This year's theme is:
"Decision-making; the game or the rules"
Importance of decision-making:
In the playing field of projects, programmes and portfolios, many decisions have to be made every day. Decisions about scope, priorities, risks and budgets.
Decisions are often difficult and/or painful, involve large investments and a high degree of uncertainty. So you like to make a decision based on the right insights and information, but do you have them? So you don't make the right decisions alone. By organising decision-making in the project organisation well and clearly, the maturity of control will increase and the organisation will gain agility and decisiveness. Manoeuvrability is essential to remain competitive.
Decision-making is about cooperation:
Decision-making touches all our Best Practices, but also the personal effectiveness of all players: portfolio board, client, user, project manager and team members. Everyone plays a role in the game of decision-making. Who knows how to play the game well? What role do the rules play? We invite you to self-reflect and combine strength and insight.
Decide to join us?
The BPUG seminar on 2 June 2015, a day where all best practices in project, programme and portfolio management come together. A day mainly defined by those unique practice stories, that in-depth look at our best practices, or a further enrichment of our visitors' knowledge and/or skills.
The board of the Department of Business Administration will be present with a stand on that day.
Purpose: Wider attention for KIVI, our association, getting further acquainted with BPUG, the organising association, and "last but not least": We, KIVI Business Managers, can also meet each other on that day.
To give even more publicity to the seminar, we would like to ask you to announce the BPUG seminar via your intranet and/or website. You can do this by including a link to the website (see below).
